EXCELLENT TROMBONES BAPTIST CHURCH
is a house church which began in August, 2018, and faithfully continues serving our Lord Jesus Christ.
We do public ministry, street preaching, and visitation.
In addition, the church holds weekly Bible studies and prayer meetings.
Our only Bible authority is the Authorized Version, or King James Bible.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. I Corinthians 15:52.
The definition of "trombone" is "a large trumpet," and we proclaim the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Second Advent. Hence the church name, EXCELLENT TROMBONES.

Paul Duey, pastor of Excellent Trombones Baptist Church, received Jesus Christ as his Saviour at about age 10.
Paul has been active for ten+ years in the nursing home ministry. He holds a Bachelor of Divinity degree from The Bible Doctrine Institute of Jacksonville, Florida.
Paul and his wife, LaRue, met in highschool and have been married for over 60 years. They have three children and six grandsons.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

PREACH THE GOSPEL of Jesus Christ, and FEED THE FLOCK entrusted to us.
The Bible says that all have sinned. When one comes of age to know of his sinful condition, he is held accountable .
He must make a choice to avoid hell. In order to go to heaven, he must choose God's free gift. God wants him to choose life.
How to receive God’s free gift:
A—Admit that you are a sinner.
B—Believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood, died, was buried, and resurrected to pay for your sins.
C—Call upon Him to save you; confess those things: tell Him in prayer: that you are a sinner;
you believe Jesus Christ died to pay for your sins; ask Him to take you to heaven when you die.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

SERVICE / ACTIVITY SCHEDULE
Due to the recent passing of my dear wife, we discontinued services for a time for the purpose of rest and restructuring, as she was an important part of this ministry.
We are now holding regular services. Thank you for your prayers and your kindness .
PRAYER SERVICE & BIBLE STUDY:
- 6PM each Friday. The service begins with a short Bible Study lesson; afterward we take prayer requests and fervently
pray for the needs brought
before the congregation.
On Sunday, we have:
- Sunday School (Bible Study) -- 10:00AM
- Church Service -- 11:00AM.

ETBC started in a nursing home and Bible study 4+ years ago, and unable to continue nursing home due to Covid, we began Sunday school and church services as a house church. The analogy: we served and dined on God's words and now we took time to wash dishes and prepare more food to be served in due time.
We are grateful for the grace and mercy of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

All gifts gratefully received
Prayers and contributions help us in serving nursing homes, public ministry, street preaching and other expenses. Observations regarding giving: (1) ...it is accepted according to that a man hath,... 2 Cor. 8:12 (Don't borrow to give--use what you have). (2) Pay to others what you owe, utilities, etc. (Don't neglect necessities, 2 Cor. 9:7). Keeping in mind the above two scriptural recommendations helps one to be a cheerful giver (2 Cor. 9:7). Even so, each one's service is between themselves and the Lord.
